Mike was born and raised in Luverne, MN. After graduating high school he moved to Sioux Falls and attended Augustana University where he graduated in 1997 with a Major in Business Administration and Minors in Government & Philosophy.

 After college, Mike chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and gave the insurance industry a try and never looked back. Mike brings over 20 years of insurance experience and has been an agent since 2001, he achieved the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 2009.

 Mike lives in Sioux Falls with his wife and two sons, his hobbies include slow pitch softball, sand volleyball, golf, and spending as much time as possible with his kids.

Why insurance?  It’s in my blood, I grew up around it and it’s what I’ve become passionate about doing. Mike really enjoys helping people and trying to be THEIR insurance agent for life.
